ABOUT GREECE | LOCATION
Greece is a small country, the most southern in the Balkan peninsula and the most southern-eastern of Europe, having Asia to its east and Africa to its south. The mainland is in the shape of a bent arm, while its thousands of islands - over 3000 - are scattered all over the country`s three seas, the Aegean archipelagos, the Ionian sea and the Cretan sea (all parts of the eastern Meditteranean Sea). To its north there are four countries of the Balkans - starting from NW: Albania, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey.
